Kummacon is organized by a group of wonderful volunteers, as well as event and film collective Studio Korppikela (est. 2011).
The event has a variety of programs that celebrate literature, cosplay, Western and Eastern comics, science fiction and games of all kinds.
From 2023 Kummacon is the first Queer Literature Festival in Finland.
